its pretty cool how the zealots cut horizontally and yet since they are so epic the marine gets sliced vertically :)

@backstabber913 It's actually to distinguish live units from dead. If you're massing units and you still see the armor color it's easy to mistake. The technical requirements for keeping the units the same color is extremely easy, they all use the same textures.

They turned grey so no matter what colour your are, they can reuse the same animation for all marines.
