Here you got the music from the Ocean Loader 1, 2 & 3! There is a second video including Ocean Loader 4 & 5 (unfortunately there is a 10 minute limit so I could not put them in same clip). The two first versions were composed by Martin Galway and the third one was written by Peter Clarke. The purpose of this video is just to make you see the small differences between the different loaders used by Ocean. The V2 is more polished than the first version and the third version begins the same, but turns into another catchy tune. There were a handful of games that got their own loaders, but there were 5 different loaders that were used in Ocean Softwares games. The loaders with these tunes were used in 100+ games and should be remembered by everybody that once had a C64 ;)

  • The latest standing is 8-5 (yes, i counted comments like 3rd one is massive as a vote) to Ocean Loader 3.

  • Which one is your favorite of these three? I definately think the second one is better since it is much more polished than the first one, however, I like the third one the most.

  • I've been gaming for over 20 years now, but nothing makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up like hearing the Ocean Loaders, particularly the third one. Definitely heady days...

  • These are fucking ace man, kudos to you for putting these up. You've inspired me now to learn an instrument, form a band, and just make a living going around the world playing the Ocean loading screen songs! x

  • I had a spectrum and my mate had a C64. They both had strengths and weaknesses and we never argued about which was best cos we were both happy with what we had, but DAMN was I jealous of loading music! I had loading screech. Thanks Clive.

  • On 1985! If i'm a techno-trance fanatic, b'cos of this and Martin Galway - Rambo: First Blood Part II (1986 Ocean) songs. Sometimes i was listening 100 times repeatly these 2.

  • @TheCommodore64Player I have to agree. The 4th one is the weakest of the bunch, despite being quite good. The 5th one, however, is absolutely fantastic, but not V2 and V3 fantastic.
