This is a little more than just beginners work. So it's all about finding a yoga practice that is more closely related to your limitations. The most important thing is, and I hope you figured this out... practice practice practice. You will gain your strength and balance. Also become properly hydrated. Dehydration can be a major cause to cramping- but- this NYTimes article on cramping is informative. go to the NYTimes on line and add this on the end. 2008/02/14/health/nutrition/14BEST.html
