Great film. Kind of rises above the drugs and porn aspect of the film to turn into a big sprawling human epic. I really enjoyed this film and it combined with this other film I saw called Puncture turned into a great double feature a couple of days ago. Puncture is an a great film within itself. Something I would recommend.

@toohache i used to think that too, but i think he does that rags to riches/underdog/down on his luck nobodies type roles really really well. like "invincible" and "the fighter". i know actors are supposed to be good at any role and adaptable....but everyone is bless with 1 special thing rite lol

I'm just stumbling on your post now, lol, but I never knew Leo was offered this role?! As much of a fan I am of this movie, that's interesting...I don't know if he would've played the role as well as Mark Whalberg....Can't see Leo doing 'porn scenes' the same year he did Titanic lol!
