Flip The Coin (www.flipthecoin.org)
Dr Muhammad Yunus a prominent Bengali Economist who was rewarded Nobel Peace prize in 2006.
This documentary illustrated the findings of Tom Heinemenn as per his own understanding of Micro Finance.
It is a pity that The Bangladeshi Media Failed to communicate the gesture of Tom Heinnemenn regarding his thoughts of Micro Credit and Dr Yunus. Bangladeshi Media Deliberately tried their best to victimize Prof Yunus using Tom's Documentary and his findings. If there was any fault with Dr Yunus, then how come Bangladeshi Media was taking so much time to Wait for TOM's docu?

  • Yah,money was siphoned but stayed within GB. Yunus had to do it to avoid tax ,

and Bangladesh Government's greedy eyes... over here everybody whats to have a piece of pie. Dr. Yunus never wanted to use this money for his own benefit . But that happend in the mid 90's. Norway knew it well, but still decided to award him Noble. (Perhaps to teach him this lesson? ) Anyways, God bless Dr. Yunus. May God be with you. I know you are goin' through all these harrassment for helping the poor !

  • You guys (Norway) made him (Yunus) known to all as a good fellow, and now

look at you. World is such a good place for your playground. You awarded him Noble knowing what he did and noh you guys are trying to dishonour him. Whatever you do my friend (?), just know that, this guy really and trully tried to help poor in his own way. This organization (GB) is solely owned by Poor people of Bangladesh. And money was transferred from GB to Grameen Kalyan which is another GB's org.

  • ok, i have no idea what the norwegian commentator is saying, but i am guessing it is critical of micro credit. A project that has been going for over 20 years should not be so discredited so easily.

  • to the producer of this documentary LISTEN : even if 60% ppl got benefited from this micro credit loan, that's an big achievement.

Its very obvious that such a big project as this, will have some unhappy stories.

You don't have to make a bloody vdo out of it and make yourself famous.
