@MrMandingus yes, real blues was absolutely made by black people. then it was imitated by many white people. a handful of them did it very well.

@keo774 Sorry. That was a 'given'. I just didn't even comment on those groups because they were so famous. Not so many people know about him with Bromberg. The Airplane was just about the only major group of the time that I didn't get to see and I always wanted to. I loved Hot Tuna from the first song I heard from them. Yes, he added/adds so much to both groups. Thanks for the reminder.
