After getting an IFR clearance, this is some of the video shot while on the IFR flight in Ventura area. The cloud tops were at about 4000 and ceilings were down to about 1000. We were practicing instrument approaches to Oxnard and Camarillo, and so were a lot of other southern California pilots as it is often rare that you get some nice IFR weather.

@chuckd1356 not true - just requires certain cloud separation and visibility based on the airspace you're in - says nothing about ground contact

same way a jet knows your not going to hit it, and that's the air traffic controllers keep separation between airplanes.

Keep it up...The music is two parts. The first part is from the Disney live action theme Peter Pan. The second part of the song is one of the songs from Pearl Harbor.
