The great tenor Fon Fredric West plays the rol of Siegfried as he only knows.

  • This is wonderful music-one of my favourite parts of Siegfried but really, a ramshackle kitchen? Wagner deserves better! We deserve better!

  • This is sooo cheesy. I mean, Sigfried as the Comic Book Guy?

  • Drrum diddley dum dum dum dum dum dum! 0:00 - 0:03

Why can't I stop humming this?

  • @MargraveofTad

But it works perfectly! Mime and Siegfried are completely the Odd Couple. Disfunctional sort-of family relationship, can't stand each other, living in a grubby cave in the woods. This is a perfect analogy. Can you imagine either of them ever doing the washing up?

  • Who was the plank who had the idea to identify Siegfried by making him wear a grubby T-Shirt with 'Sieg Fried' written on it?

  • Mediocre sound, unbalanced, and the set design is horrendous. Tragic. Shame, because the singers seem pretty decent.
