Great comment:I agree. There is something very special about Johnny:the words and his voice:and the passion and emotion:nobody touches him.You feel his pain:his anguish:and he sings about not being great? There will never be another J.C.
Thumbs up to you.

GREAT SONG from THE BEST!

My idol. Greatest man that ever lived to date. Excluding Jesus of course. He was a man in pain. The world was suffering around him and he spoke for them.

He didn't deserve the life he had and I think he knew it. Maybe it was cause he was grateful for the life he was given that God kept him around for so long.

@KLUNKET I think he was just a man. A talented story teller yes, but a true honest man and a sinner all the same. Anyone who claims to be anything other is lost in thier own delusions. luckily/unluckily for him his past kept him from allowing himself to play into that saint like role that was thrust upon him. He was just a man. and that was a great accomplishment.

I know what Cash is trying to say here... The world looked to him as a God-Like figure towering above most. His fans and his peers looked up to him in a way that was hard for him to understand or live up to. Although Cash appreciated all the love he recieved from all around the world in his own mind it was hard for him to understand. He felt he was just a man, a sinner and not a saint. Sadly Cash himself was the only one who didn't recognize his own greatness- we all sure as hell did!! R.I.P. JR
