Our van does a reverse commute. We drive from the New Orleans area to the rural Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. The commute is 67 miles round trip with 24 miles each direction being over the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway. The Causeway charge $3 at the North Shore Toll Booth. Entry from the South Shore is free. The speed limit on the Causeway is 65 MPH. We have two drop off points on the North Shore but they are within walking distance of each other. Our van has been in existance for over 3 years.
