It would have been a much better episode if she had been captured as Wonder Woman instead and rendered powerless by having her magic belt & lasso removed and securely tied her up to the post. Not before being taken back to the Nazi's lair so that the evil scientist they were working with could create an evil duplicate clone of her and give her WW's belt & lasso so that she could posses the real WW's powers.

This scene would had been better if the villians had captured Wonder Woman and tied her hands behind her back with her own golden lasso. Steve Trevor Jr. could had followed the villians and, when they left the cave, untied Wonder Woman, enabling her to get rid to of dynamite just before it explodes. Wonder Woman could then use her invisible plane to follow the villians to their hideout and bring them to justice.

She did only the close up shots on the copter herself -- the high ones were done by her stunt double.
She got in a huge amount of trouble for doing it, too -- they were running out of time & light so she jumped in and said 'take me up about 20 feet'
But, if she had fallen & broken a leg (or worse), the show wouldn't be able to film until she was recovered -- so she got BLASTED by the producers who saw the dailies the next day.
