We re talking speed guys. It is another aspect of playing and needs a different more obscure way to sound musical. This is a delightfull video to watch. Consider that the man is so modest he doesnt even have it in his own videos!
He could easily have it frontpage in all his sites but instead you can only find it here, and in my favorites!

I know he play guitar for his own will, and i know it's hard to do that (at least for me)...
Fast is only one factor of many factors in music and... his shred like bird singing with same pattern that why many peoples hear it's soul less in this shred
