@70scarrestoguy Damn, youre a fountain of information. i bought 400 rounds yesterday of remington umc 9mm because of how cheap they were, hopefully theyre not shit.
-
@70scarrestoguy No, I'm just allergic to assholes who think they know everything.
-
@alfonsothewhite If you like the 9mm, try a few boxes of Federal Premium 9mm +p, 147gr JHP HST. Their good enough for Law Enforcement, so their good enough for me. I buy 1,000 count case from whichever online dealer has the best deal. Cost after everything is around $400. & they'll last me for around 5 months. I save the brass & sell it back to the manufacturer. I only fire factory ammo from my G19 & G20, Glock doesn't recommend using handloads & I saw a Glock 357 Sig split a few reloaded case's
-
@70scarrestoguy Well I'll definitelly look into them next time I buy a pistol because of your recommendation. Is the ammo expensive, thats also one of the reasons I like the 9mm its so freaking cheap.
-
@alfonsothewhite Revolvers seem to recoil harder than semi-auto pistols but cartridge selection has more to do with recoil than the weapon's caliber. Compensated (ported) barrels & muzzle gas suppressors can effectively reduce muzzle rise but proper grip & stance fundamentals are the foundation to an enjoyable shooting experience. The 9x19 is plenty of protection but if your looking for a caliber that offers more fun, the Glock 20-10mm easily outperforms the .45acp but has less felt recoil = win
-
@70scarrestoguy Oh ok I can definitelly handle the .45 acp recoil. Its 44 magnum + rounds I dont like, its just too much recoil imo. Different people like different things.
-
@alfonsothewhite I own a few Glocks, including a Gen3- 20. This past December, I added a Lone Wolf 6"bbl & upgraded recoil spring. My Chrony Chronograph verifies I'm gaining 125fps -130fps & that translates to a gain of 140lb/ft of energy. I'm 6'-2"/ 220 lbs, even with D Tap ammo, the G20 felt recoil was never an issue for me. I think it's milder than a friends 1911- .45acp firing 200gr hardball. With the proper JHP ammo, the 9mm has more than enough energy for personal defense against a Thug.

@70scarrestoguy Good info tnx, I use 9mm hornady rounds in my pistol myself, ill check out those zombie max rounds. Btw how do you like the 10mm round? ive never shot one.

@NogsAreNuthen Wouldn't the so called "Moolie's" just steal the metal detector & possibly seriously injure or murder the security guard? If you watched the entire video you'd be aware that Lance moved his business away from that neighborhood & he does business by appointment only. Do you have a short attention span or have you had a few too many tonight?
-
@NogsAreNuthen Neither could any metal pocket watches & upscale vintage watches usually aren't made from plastic or found in boxes of Cracker Jack caramel popcorn. Duh! He's already installed double security doors. A full time armed security guard & an airport quality metal detector would cost how much? Lance deals in high quality & vintage watches, he's not an Alchemist whose creating golden eggs.Never mind the guard, how many years would it take Lance to recoup the cost of the metal detector?
The majority of armed criminals expect their unarmed victims to cower & beg their attackers for mercy. Those criminals which attempted to rob & murder Lance, had obviously never been shot back at by previous victims.Lance was wise to train himself for a violent confrontation.Gang-banger training probably amounts to plinking at stop signs or drive by shootings.Imagine the panic those turds suffered when Lance didn't back down from being forced into a gun fight.Probably crying for their Mamas.
