  • much more interesting than just another 1000th subscriber vlog!

I remember when Corazon Aquino picked up where her husband was forced to leave off and - who knows?- maybe even succeeded more than he ever could have... It was a drama the whole world watched unfold over several months and the whole world celebrated her victory for Philippines and for democracy. She was the right person in the right place at the right time - an exciting combination that happens very rarely in history.

  • Im Praying for the Aquino Family too.. i have to say that it was a big lost for the filipino people that our former president Cory Aquino is no longer with us and i know what she have done to our country and she have done alot and probably the best President that Philippines have ever had... so President Cory Aquino Maraming Salamat Po!!! :D

  • I'm sorry to say this but I think People Power was the biggest mistake in Philippine History.

  • famous quotes by ninoy, "Filipinos are worth dying for."

its in the 500 php bill

  • I embraced and learned more about my Mexican culture because of my Filipina fiancee myself. I learned that Filipinos were probally the first Asians to came to the New World, to Acapulco Mexico to be exact. When Mexico became independant from Spain they sent spies to the Philippines to help them out. Acapulco's Coconut wine is really Phils Tuba recipee that Filipinos taught Mexicans. Spain controlled the Phils from Mexico City. The Mex Mango came from Manila. Theres a statue if Rizal in Mex!

  • Dude, I'm pretty sure it's "BeniGno," not Benin(y)o. It's not Italian. It's Filipino. And it's THE Philippines, not just "Philippines." Just my two cents. At any rate, it's interesting to see that other Fil-Ams are still into Filipino heritage and culture. Mabuhay! :-)

  • nice one kuya kababayan!

  • If she hadn't married Ninoy, she could have been anything she wanted, she was that smart. Kinda ironic, the man, who halted her career by marrying her, is the man allowed her to become president.

  • so proud of you.. there's a lot of pinoys overseas who doesn't know how to look back from where they came from.. very well said! I salute you for this!

  • great!! very inspiring messages...nice jokway, atin ka pa rin dayang kapampangan...

  • Very well said, 5 stars.

  • we should keep ourselves rooted of who we are and where we came from..i hope the sacrifices that these great people had made, including late Pres. Aquino, won't go to waste..I'm proud of Filipinos like Jokway and a few others who, inspite of the stature and bi-cultural brooding , still had the guts and will to rediscover who they really are and embrace the heritage..hindi gaya ng karamihan na nakapunta lang sa tate or any part of the world sinusuka na ang pagiging pilipino..hands down to you bro
