- Stock reso heads
- Clear Remo Emporer for tom batter heads
- Stock snare heads
- Evans Emad for bass batter head (smaller foam ring)
- Zildjian 20" K Ride cymbal
- Zildjian 18" A Medium/Thin crash
- Zildjian 14" A Custom hi-hats

Drums are tuned low for rock music. Didn't use dampening on any drum other than the bass drum batter (Evans Emad.)

  • A 14" floor tom sounds that deep and fat? very nice set up, I was considering the catalina. Do you use anything to muffle or dampen your kick?

  • @seanwithoutYou Thanks! Yeah, I'm really surprised at how great this little kit sounds tuned low for rock stuff. Very impressed!

I have an Evans EMAD on the batter side of the kick with the small foam damper ring, but nothing else.

  • Thanks everyone! I do use "Moon Gel" on my rack tom on my DW kit, but haven't tried them yet on this new Gretsch kit. I'm sure they will sound great!
