In this video Mat & Cody are learning to solder and working on the glove trigger device that they started on last week. It will plug into a drum kat and trigger either outboard synths or sounds from a laptop.

This is the 4th official meeting of the brand new Electronic Music Ensemble student club at Scottsdale Community College (Arizona). Matt Winchel and Cody Cruse are leading the club, and Elaine Walker (Electronic Music Instructor) is advising.

The purpose of the club is to perform electronic music using alternate controllers and a variety of software.

  • where's the conclusion??? such a tease... ...i'll hold my "good job pplz" for when i see some original compositions on a working glove midi controller!!!!;)

  • conclusion?! We're gonna be meeting every week.. but spring break just happened so we missed a week. it'll take one or two more meetings to get this glove finished, but then we will be on to something else, maybe with other students, so you'll always be in suspense! ;-)

  • Don't forget to have the person doing the soldering exhale slowly while applying the solder to divert the fumes from being breathed directly and obscuring vision.

  • "i found some tape. and some other tape" lmao, i think im gonna watch all of them now o,o
