@boredfun91 i know what you're saying but Brand has abnormally long arms, like almost freakish. Height isn't rare in the NBA but Brand's wingspan is.

@Lorenshyne Are you talking about Brand? Cuz if so, there's nothing obscure about him. He went to Duke, got every major award in college, and averaged 20/10 in his rookie season. Picking him was a no brainer. And he was top 5 in MVP vote in 05-06.

Oh, and Will Avery sucked lol. Him and Steve Francis were nowhere on the same planet, even before being drafted. And Brand was much better than both of them.

@phillybird711 lol, he still has skills. That's like saying "without his height and weight, Shaq would be nothing" or "if Kobe was 5'6 he'd suck". Well obviously. I'm sure if they had different physical gifts they'd adjust their games accordingly and learn to play differently. Physical gifts have to be synchronized with actual skill and athletic talent.

Elton Brand even injured is one of the best PFs in the game. Instead of getting fat porkies like Glen Davis, or Juwan Howard, you need a real power forward in Elton Brand. He has strength, length, and legit game.

oNE of the most obscure first overall picks ever. He is a workhorse dont get me wrong he delivers for more than 10 years and i like the guy but he was neva a supasatra. Was he an all star? one time maybe. Shoulda selected Steve Francis or Will Avery.

Elton Brand has legendary wingspan. If not for that he would be half the player he is. Don't get me wrong I love the guy but those arms were a gift.
