Greg Hawkes Live at a performance in Natick, MA on a cool October 09th evening, 2010.
I was hired as Lighting Director for the performance and was at first thinking: Greg Hawkes. Ok, Cars. Really? Cool. Ukelele Trio? Hmmm, I dunno. Should at least be an intersting night. Maybe a few bubbles and some navigating around the Tulips for the evening?
Interesting Indeed. And very awesome. And I've seen more live shows over the years than is probably healthy to see. He,and the boys, played 2 sets of Cars, Beatles and originals. Wonderful performers and a great show and great guys to hang around and talk with. Greg and the band, Greg and Tim(?), sorry, are great with the audience with also, a sense of humor. Very gracious and very talented.
If you get the chance to see him with his trio. Go. Have fun and enjoy the show.
