  • Wow fluffy cat... I like!

  • very handsome kitty ya got there!!

  • @Ella73TV2 Although it's not the breed standard, some Birmans actually do have that amount of white on their legs. I do have to say that this cat is rather larger for a Birman. It's really hard to see the difference sometimes :)

  • @R0ssee

A Birman would not have the large amounts of white running from its toes and up the rear legs, it would just have white toes then the colouring (ie same as its front paws)

  • It's a birman

  • I think thats not a ragedoll. Its a birman.

  • Wow makes my ragdoll look lazy....nvm he is.....on a side note your cat is sooo cute

  • @EazyE163 Wow, it has been two years and I'm still ragdoll-less. I can't have one here because there is a dog, but once I get into a more permanent situation I will. Do you have any tips on finding a legitimate breeder? I've looked online a lot but I can't tell who is a good person to even consider buying from. I just want to make sure that when I make that plunge that the kitten/cat is going to be healthy and actually a ragdoll. :)

  • @Chaoticnumbers 2 years since you writed this comment: you writed. I want a ragdoll sooo badly ! So do you have a ragdoll now ?

  • @MAMAMACHINE They can shed heavily between seasons, for example shedding winter coat into summer etc

The shedded fur reminds of long human hair so its not as "small and sticky" as with tabbies.

But if your dad is allergic, it is due to the the special skin oil and dandruff of cats, not with the fur itself!
