...in a Cashwell airdrop bag attached to his body for the exit from the high-performance military aircraft rear ramp that was lowered on a line before landing. Once on the ground, the bag was opened, the ATB unfolded and cycled off to join his team mates whose bikes were a part of the ATAC skid board load so they jumped separately.

The British "Cycle-Commandos" raided Bruneval radar station on the coast of France in 1942 by jumping exposed folding BSA bicycles to achieve stealthy mobility from an unexpected direction to surprise the German defenders. This proven technique is improved on by enclosing the folding bike in a Cashwell padded airdrop bag to reduce snagging risks during parachute jumps.

If the user heightens his seat so that his leg is almost fully extended when the pedal is at the bottom of the rotation, cycling becomes almost effortless. The only problem is that the user must train himself how to catch his fall on one foot as the bike topples over at a stop.

I was a Mormon missionary for two years. Plenty of time on these things. I was sceptical of raising the seat to that height, at first, but I gave it a sincere try and it works great.
