Without wanting to sound like an MMA armchair analyst, I'm going to refer to Bas Rutten and say, sparring is essential. Sparring really tells you how good your striking is, and consider Overeem spars regularly. Also, his gameplans are non-existant; trying to outjab a kickboxer and leaving the body exposed to kicks, confused even Mike Goldberg. Brock Lesnar's physique gives him freakish potential, but it also leads guys to think that he doesn't have to work as hard.

My boxing coach told me that "these here mitts can ruin a fighter".. that means that if your coach lets you look good on the mitts then you'll get embarassed in a fight

@BrokenBon3sx dude it was a joke referring to him punching heath herring, dropping frank mir and couture.
-
@wiredtoawall No he didnt, stfu you dont know anything his striking was not really tested in a fight before death clutch
-
brock sucks in a stand up cant strike at all hes a great wrestler i mean tha way he just dominated heath herring and frank mir in their second fight was incredible
-
its ironic because Lesnar had better striking b4 his camp taught him how to strike "properly"
-
Brock Lesnar + Capoeira
-
seeing this changed my view on his striking,he obviously can hit hard(herring fight) just needs to stand and bang with someone
-
Needs people throwing punches at Him, not the other way around.

@lukex29 so what your saying is your gonna fight brock lesnar and knock him out?? good luck
brock cant fucking counterpunch and his deathclutch camp is just full of ass kissers, he needs a PROPER mma gym where people actually try and knock his dumb ass out!

@337429 I wouldn't say that, Brock is a good wrestler with awful striking. Whenever he fights a non wrestler then he has a good chance of winning, but when he faces a wrestler or a fighter with good TDD with good striking he will be out. He doesn't like being hit and that is that, you don't learn that when your 30+ years old.
