Loor to Egypt, the artists, personnel, regisseur and Verdi !!! This has been, since I was 12 one of my favorite scenes : the Glory of the winners plus the pride and revenge feeling of Amneris by one side. By the other, the humillation of defeat, the fear of the defeated, plus the desespere of loving the enemy of Aída. Grande Verdi !

I am not too impressed with the basses and baritones at Scala.. Urmana and the mezzo have my attention.. Alagna needs to get over himself..
