A good look at the businesses and people of Forest City, Pennsylvania from an 8mm film from 1937. Footage courtesy John Kameen, uploaded by the Forest City Area Historical Society.
I see that the Forest City Area Historical Society doesn't have a website anywhere online. Who represents the F.C.A.H.S. and how could I get in touch with someone about Forest City's history? I'm researching for an essay on the 1910 Census and I could use any additional information, maybe an interview.
I am too young to know the people but remember family members mentioning alot of these business....actually remember shopping in a few as a child. Great post and look into our towns history.
My Gramma and Grampa are in this film.
Thank you John Kameen and thank you FCPAHS!
