You do NOT have to smash the cop cars to decrease your wanted level. If you prefer you can ditch the car and go hang out in some secluded area such as a park, an alley or the coastline for a moment and then your stars decrease. You may have to smash a few cop cars if you have more than 2 stars, but I like ditching on foot when my car is screwed and there are only slow cars to choose from.

how come we always get these little corny mini-games for ds titles but never for regular console titles. somehow i think alot of these games would be better off without these mini-games that never really add any real atmosphere to the games and would just be alot better if real content was added instead.

drug dealing is the best part of chinatown wars. that's the best way to make money in it.
