OK AFADougie, I'll answer your question. No, I do not want to make more money if it means joining AFA. Freedom is more important to many of us than a contract that ties our hands, as well as Delta's hands. Just ask an NWA f/a how they liked the bonus that was negotiated earlier this year. Oh, that's right, AFA forgot to do that. BTW, your posts are barely legible, so I don't think I am the one that is inbred. I think a drug test might be in your future.

I have never had an issue come up that management has not been able to at least help a little with, and I've been here since 1998. Why would I hire a middleman to deal with that for me? This is not the 1950's anymore. Workers are not starving. And unions are just big business like any other business. And I chose not to patronize that business, along with 50%+ of other Delta f/a. So when we vote AGAIN, we will kick AFA to the curb AGAIN! Soon they're be AFA/CWA/UAW/Teamsters/TWU. Fly safe.

I am not going to give my support to an organization that does not give us the respect we deserve by FORCING us to join their organization! I am not going to have my money go to the Democrats, or any political party, unless I want it to. The reason Wisconsin and Ohio are happening now is because organized labor only supports one party. What the hell do you think is going to happen when the other party gets in power. These people are not smart, and WILL NOT get my money. (to be continued)

Let's talk fact. We've said three times that we don't want AFA, yet they are still wasting their members money to get at ours. I've talked to f/a's from just about every airline, and very few are happy with AFA. Many would leave if given the chance, but they have been conditioned to be scared to death if they are not "represented". I am fine with our compensation package, and others are envious of ours. The very little we will get with a "contract" is not worth the money. (to be continued)

Speaking to the pilots, you must realize the reason your pilots don’t want you to have a contract is because its more money for them in their next negotiation.
Thank GOD ignorance is only inbred and contagious.
Have a good day.

You tell me, is it safe for a flight attendant to be awake for a 24 to 48 hour period?
Speaking of rest - Contract flight attendants have designated bunk rooms for rest while our policy manual friends have seats? Really? Why is it the pilots have bunks and lay flat seats –
BECAUSE THEY HAVE A CONTRACT -

No leash on crew scheduling “Are you refusing a trip” No I am not refusing a trip, I am refusing the obvious and abusive manner in which you would like to take advantage of my good fucking nature.
There is not another major carrier out there who build back to back redeye trips and then dumps them on reserves or “A Day” people after being awake for 8 hours prior.

Simply reviewing your 16-hour duty day is very telling. A 16-hour duty is absurd. The only people having to work like this is the commuter carriers and only because THEY HAVE NO CONTRACT.
The work done on NO WAY AFA is a unofficially supported by the very people who want to squeeze more out of you for less.
Social security offset? Come on, really? This is ok with you? Is it the Georgia heat?

It is a shame you have such trouble discerning between fact and fiction, fantasy and reality, one day when you stop chasing your tail or your dog in circles you will wake up. Really sir – Please tell us how making more money, or even just putting yourself in parody with every other major carrier in the industry is a bad thing.
Have you ever actually studied your policy manual vs any other major contract in the industry. Certainly, you cannot be that uninformed.
Congrats you answered none of the questions and created more smoke with typical anti contract "freakisms" ............
Again Thank GOD ignorance is only inbred and not contagious..........
Luv Ya - I want to make the same money under the same rules as every other major player - thanks.
