Calling this white mans music has nothing to do with racism. There are certain styles of music that blacks would identify as black peoples music, anyone can enjoy it but it would be identified as music intended for black people. This style is identifed as white mans music, I'm sure some black's like it but it's white mans music. Get your head out of the hole it's buried in, grow up and live in the world with the rest of us adults who can say the words white or black without being offended.

Saw them last night in Grandview Texas!! It was AWESOME.
Go to their website (The Departed) and checkout their schedule. If Grady, who is indeed a fine man want to run a bar and stay in Oklahoma, that doesn't mean the band doesn't morph into something new? Seth James rocks my world btw. ;-)

Texas country is a genre. It refers to style, not the artists' location. Most of the artists tend to be from Texas however.

Miss these guys, they had great music, I wish they would have just been able to get another singer after Cody left. Grady is an awesome Guitarist and He needs to be playing some of that outlaw country now. but instead he Owns a bar in Yukon Oklahoma, and Yes I know Grady, he's a damn good guy.

they made an album through nashville after this record blew up and it was so off putting to their main fan base that they said never again. Now the band broke up.
