Why is her voice so breathy? And why can't she make it through a phrase? Was she sick when this was recorded? Just wondering, I've never heard of this singer before.

@xmandlt thats very kind of you :o) I didnt realise what this and the whole album was about until I bought it and it was just... perfect. She has such a gorgeous, emotive, expressive voice and the song says sooo much. If I'd had any left, I'd have given my eye teeth to have seen this performed live. A lovely, but achingly sad song.
