A short cut with a long history. Two magnificent buildings that stretch across and cast long ghostly shadows into the walls of history. Karnani Mansions and Queen's Mansion. Housed within are powdered beauties, belly scratching pimps, bum touching offices, a quaint school, empty hair cutting saloons, backdoors of listless watering holes, forgotten apartments, creaking elevators from a bygone era and a general feeling of diaspora.
