Tutorial // Steam Overlay in Browsergames (e.g. Quake Live)

This is a quick tutorial on how to use Steam when playing games in your browser.

Step 1: Open the run dialog and type "firefox -P -no-remote"
Step 2: Create a new Firefox profile (Remember its name as you will need it during step 5)
Step 3: Set the game's web address as your homepage
Step 4: Add a Non-Steam game to your Library and choose Firefox
Step 5: Add "-P "YourProfileName" -no-remote" to the new Shortcut's target (Replace YourProfileName with your profile's name, duh)

You now have a shortcut in your Library that will launch the game independently from any other browser windows.
