KP3 is mainly an effects unit, so you can run every type of audio through it and put effects over it in real time. The sampling feature is merely a nice extra.

Sometimes it sounds like a very old Kraftwerk, excellent demo, so different of "Techno 200bpm demos" unbearable ...Thanks!

Can you add effects in real time or do you have to sample an instrument before you can apply effects? That is the deciding factor in me purchasing KP3.
