This needs to be re-shot with proper audio. You cannot truly hear the guitar.

@jdmarcus59 Yes i think so. For the aging toner I think that they mix amber tint with the nitro finish before it's applyied but i'm not an expert luthier, just a guitar player, so you should check this information within a professional or your shop dealer. Take a look to the Martin website too! Cheers

@alvaritooooooooo so do all HD28 have the same finsh? even the ones hd28v that has the age toner put on it to make it look older.

Hey! White House of Music in Waukesha, WI...my home town. Always loved this store.

@bluegrasssingingman I like the D-28 better. HD-35 sounds kinda flabby.

Scalloped bracing = sonic boom!

@mikecosgrove I've never heard a terrible sounding Martin, and I've played many. Everyone I've played in the stores sound great. All new guitars have to open up. Then once they start opening up you hear the great sound getting better and better the more you play.

@bluegrasssingingman Would you clarify before I buy one. I sometimes think the HD-35 sounds better but when I go to the stores there are not always 28's and 35's there to A-B them. Some of the new HD-28's I have played sound terrible!

The Hd 35 is much better sounding guitar.

@jdmarcus59 Nitrocellulose finish is a high end finish. That finish respects much better the sound of the wood against other thicker finishes. Hope it helps
