@Gwitfu90 Idk if Urlacher is quicker than Butkus.

Butkus was the best of the three, and maybe the best of all time. Sayers would make cuts in the holes, run through tackles, and change speeds. He would slow down when they had an angle on him and then speed back up when they got close. No other back like him, ever.

If the bears kept George Allen, he would've surrounded those 2 studs with good players, and they would've been up there with the Pack and Cowboys. Instead Allen went to LA and DC instead.

You have 3 Pro-Bowlers at: WR (Herman Moore), LB (Chris Spielman) and return-man (Mel Gray)....
The rest are a bunch of clowns (including a QB who threw for 1,635 yds. and 11 TDs...not exactly Dan Marino. LMAO XD) whose names you thew out there to sound like you "know" something.
Congratulations dipshit, you just proved to be a competent Wikipedia user. You can apply for a job at McDonald's with that kind of skill.
Don't make stupid arguments to "sound" smart. Doesn't work

@QBDogKiller Sanders didn't get them there, the team did. Do you know anything about the '91 Lions? Erik Kramer, Herman Moore, Brett Perriman, Mel Gray, Chris Spielman, Ray Crockett...I could do this all day. You keep telling people to do their research - try taking your own advice.

@QBDogKiller It takes more than two players to take a team to a championship. Sayers and Butkus were surrounded by mediocre players. The '91 Detroit Lions were a multidimensional team.
-Nice try.

Both of these guys belong in the Hall of Fame without question. Playing ability and stats are only part of the equation. These guys go above and beyond that. And the fact that they played for an overall mediocre team just enhances their status. They had to be great to do all this while playing for a terrible team. Team wise you can only do so much with what you've got to work with and the suit and tie management of a team is more the determinant of the overall makeup of a team.

WTF???
That's how you defend your intellect, by "blocking" someone???
Go back to school kid.

@QBDogKiller Btw, BLOCKED ASSHOLE
The thing that I find most impressive about Gale Sayers is his ability to make his moves at full speed. I've not seen any runner since then that could do that. If he had the advantages of the medical/surgical technologies of today, who knows how many more years he could have played.
