Breitkopf & Härtel published this version in 1800 in Leipzig with bassoon instead of trombone. It's perfectly legitimate, especially given that Mozart didn't finish the piece before he died. There are dozens and dozens of recordings with the trombone if that's what you prefer. There's plenty of room for a different version. And since when do trombonists care about historical accuracy anyway?
