  • My friend pete, I need some help brother. Recently i have been doing flame airbrushing. Multi layers. Everytime i mask off after it dries, The damn paint peels with the tape. I prep the way i always have and it freakin keeps doing it. layers are opueq then transparent. thanks brother

  • @h88auto when painting multi layers of paint you need to put an clear sealer such as PPG-DBC-500, then let dry and then you can tape off and it will not flake or peel Pete

  • thanks Pete I wont be lazzy

  • @pulquedelmejor Sounds good, being lazy does not pay off. Pete

  • Pete question, im painting a strat body, Black w/old school Yellow,Orange and Red Flames..in your opinion should i paint the body Flat or Gloss? considering the flame colors will have to be gloss because i dont think they make the other colors in a flat in cans, since thats the way i have to spray it with no spray guns at my disposal. • @dooniehead If your spraying your guitar with spray cans then it doesn't matter. I would probably paint it simi gloss black, then put high gloss flames on it.. That would look pretty cool. Good luck. Pete
