I hate it when candidates make jokes in order to win an election. Hart was better than Mondale despite the "Where's the beef?" joke. Also, Mondale was better than Reagan despite the "Age" joke.

jarcher6666, in defense of VP Mondale, in 1984 President Reagan was so popular, the Democrats could have run Jesus as their candidate...and he STILL would have lost to Reagan in a landslide.
