Hundreds of local republican activists and supporters gathered in the Lenadoon estate in West Belfast on July 10th to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death on hunger strike of local man Joe McDonnell. A Parade was held through the area to the Roddy McCorley Society Clubrooms where the main speech was given by North Belfast Sinn Fein MLA Gerry Kelly.
