Wow, two UVGMs by Sugiyama in a row I just noticed. The spinoff of Dragon Quest emulating a more Pokemon-style of gameplay, Dragon Warrior Monsters was a tough but interesting RPG where monsters chose to be tamed by you when randomly fighting them, rather than catching them yourself.

Regardless, the soundtrack is a wonderful soulful symphony of the perils of adventure in Terry's quest to find his sister kidnapped by demons, Never-Ending Journey being the one you will hear the most as you traverse the unknown wilderness.
