Bush isn't the worst president in history, as he's just following his predecessors' lead. Like Stalin, he didn't start that much that wasn't already official policy. Check your history and you'll find that this rotten trail goes all the way back to Lincoln.

I am with man.The USA is not helping their veterans ,the other day in VA hospital center I encounter a Irak veteran that is unable to walk normally again and the VA had denied his % of compensation twice already. Is like the worst president in History BUSH said, I want soldiers in battle not classrooms WOW that guy care a lot for soldiers.I hope that people do not vote for his twin brother Mcain.

We can give up a little in the short run for our future's good. After WW II we did the right thing we tightened our belts and gave all returning soldiers a college education, at any college, and a stipend to live - the rusult a strong American middle class
Most middle class Americanss and a lot of the very rich, would not be here today if their fathers, grandfathers, or great grandfathers hadn't had the GI BIll. DO what is right for America and our soldiers. Support another Bill -

This bill is more about symbolism than actual policy, cause when reelection for the senator Webb and other dems rolls around they will claim that since they voted for it they "support the troops" and that those whop utter valid critism about it are not supporting them same as the SCHIP battle.

Colleges should donate the teaching time that does not cost them really anything except space and without costing the tax payer anything.

Washington hasn't been serving American interests for close to a century now, so by definition, the US military more or less constitutes a mercenary force today. The country at large is apathetic and ungratful, the State quite accurately sees its legions as composed of disposable idiots, and most of those idiots joined for the advertised financial benefits instead of a true desire to protect this hedonistic garbage dump of a country. Don't voulenteer and you won't get screwed, simple as that.
