Great follow-up to their epic, two-part interview in 1998.

  • It's funny how Lansberg over the years got to talk to Mcmahon for hours and one of the biggest topics never gets brought up, Vince's supposed beef with Macho Man, i don't think it's coincidence.

  • A Bret Hart CD!? Didn't know he was a singer!

  • @KevinLockard23 Also, Bruno's reign didn't count because the WWE title wasn't recognized as a world title until Hogan won the belt. If you read PRO WRESTLING ILLUSTRATED you would've known that. Bruno is in the same category as Jerry Lawler. Lawler won the USWA title 28 times but that doesn't put him in the same league as Hogan either. The Attitude Era is the second most profitable era in wrestling after the Hulkamania Era and there's nothing that you can do or say about it!

  • @KevinLockard23 @KevinLockard23 Times change my ass! People still want to see someone be the best wrestler in the world. The thing is, after Hogan ended his 4 year run no one else was worthy of being the MAN. Since then the world title has been passed around like a hot potato with no one guy dominating. And for your fucking info, the business is moving at the same speed as it always did.

  • @donn409 I wouldn't call stepping in the ring and putting yourself at risk of paralyzing yourself because of injuries "heroic", I'd call it stupid. Though I'm not aware of the specifics of Hogan's spine injuries, but there is nothing that says they are as bad as Austin's neck injury.I don't blame Austin for getting out when he did. It was the smart thing to do. He couldn't even get clearance anymore from his doctors to wrestle at all.

  • @donn409 No, times change. The Attitude Era was long past the point where someone could be a world champion for four years straight without people getting sick to death of it. The business was moving at a faster pace at that time. By your logic, Bruno Sammartino must be the biggest star ever in wrestling, simply because he had a much longer reign than Hogan did (1963-1971.) The Attitude Era is technically the most profitable era ever in wrestling, there is no disputing it.

  • @KevinLockard23 Hogan has spinal problems from way back and has had numerous surgeries. He could've been paralyzed for continuing to wrestle, yet he heroically stepped into the ring to make his fans happy. It matters because Vince is lying to the public. I'd had no problem had Vince told the truth and admitted that the Attitude Era was the his second most successful venture but no he wanted to stick it to the man who made his billion dollar company possible.

  • @KevinLockard23 That's not true and you know it. Whoever makes the most money is made the champion, period! Austin failed to make the kind of money Hogan did and that's why he never came close to being a longer term champion. The Attitude Era is second to the Hulkamania Era and it always will be. The fact do speak for themselves afterall. Yes, Vince has brainwashed you and anybody else who believes his lies. Austin owes his career to Hogan because Hogan paved the way for him.

  • Sounds like Austin is a mark for himself

  • If I was talking to a fag like Lansberg doing that gay shoulder wiggle it would be very difficult to refrain from kicking him in the vagina.

  • @donn409 What career ending injuries did Hogan have? Did he have a serious neck injury like Austin that could have led to him possibly paralyzing himself if he continued to wrestle? I'm guessing not. Either way, I don't see why this matters. Hogan was a big star, Austin was a big star, both led to two different boom periods in the WWF, the first which brought the WWF mainstream, the second which turned the WWF into a public company. I don't see why it even matters who was bigger.
