Fire Pit end to End

This is a video log of the start to finish in the creation of my Fire Pit. The realisation of a dream that came true with the expert help of my Father George West.

Started in October 2006 and with the initial help from a couple of good friends but mostly dug by my Dad with me labouring to the skip at the other end of the garden we start the long process of digging the foundations for the fire pit. With an internal diameter of 16ft and a foundation depth of 4.5ft it was a massive task and not a machine in site to fill the six skips it eventually required to clear the site. Not recommended for the faint hearted.

Have been completed over a year ago the soft landscape is now growing up and it makes the perfect place to slip out too and have a beer.
