Guide to getting full support on windows 7 64bit and 32bit with full media controls for apple keyboards on non-apple hardware.
First download files here: http://sharecash.org/download.php?file=1790447
Next open either the 32bit or 64bit folder and then run the keyboard.exe file and install that driver.
Next you will want to open a command prompt in administrator mode to install the boot camp software. To do this go to start then do a search for "cmd" then right click and run as administrator.
Next you will want to use the command "cd" to change to the folder in which you downloaded the files to and the whole command you will want to use is "cd C:\Users\!YOUR_USERNAME_HERE!\Desktop\Mac Keybaord support\64bit" or "cd C:\Users\!YOUR_USERNAME_HERE!\Desktop\Mac Keybaord support\32bit" depending on your operating system.
Once you have done that you will you need to type in either "bootcamp64.msi" or "bootcamp.msi" again depending on your operating system. Run through the installer and then restart your computer when done and everything will be complete.

If you want a easier link here but it helps me if you use the sharecash one: http://www.mediafire.com/file/u3tfilzwk3mi4fg/Mac%20Keybaord%20support.rar

View in HD to better view. sorry for the qaulity!

  • ok never mind everything works. But i installed linux on my pc as a secondary operating system and i cant choose ubuntu when the computer is booting up because apple keyboard doesnt work when the computer is booting up. Any idea what should i do?

  • @wirgiukass You need to go into your bios and enable legacy usb or it may be called usb keyboard/mouse. Hope this helps.

  • HI bro , i have aluminum apple wired ultra thin keyboard i install boot camp as u say but my fn key like volume control , eject and brightness key is not working. how it can work on windows 7 ? reply soon thanks

  • @microjimpower Hello, Did you install the keyboard.exe file and install it succesfully? By default the volume keys etc are set to on so that you do not need to press fn for the keys to work. To get the F keys to work you need to hold the fn key and press them. Do you have a icon in your bottom right task bar which says boot camp when hovered over it?

  • so u can use the regular mac wireless keyboard with bootcamp?

  • @jackafa92 Hello, I have not tested this out as i have the wired version but you will need to follow the regisrty instructions here forumsDOTmacrumorsDOTc0m /showthreadDOTphp?t=409326 to get the keyboard paried with your computer then i dont see why the bootcamp drivers wont work.

Replace the DOT and the 0 in the link!

Good luck and get back to me if it does work.

    Thanks
