government (federal) runs on a 3 trillion dollar budget already and cannot

keep up. You are broke and cannot afford 7000 a year for every american

As good of an idea as that may be (and it is), the government should also be worried about the Insurance industry. Companies going out of business = job loss, and it's important to minimize that right now.

We need to eliminate fraud, simplify paperwork(one form for all Ins. Co.) Kick out all Illegal Immigrants, and stop being the subsidizers for the rest of the World when it comes to Presc. Drugs. and thats off the top of my head. Public Option is this Employer will not offer Ins. if the Gov. will pay for it PRESTO Substandard HealthCare for Whoever can be squeezed in. By the way I didn't even bring up the cost of healthcare for these fraudulent lawsuits!

I'm saying put the patient first and worry about making money later. This is about peoples health. Going into dept because of school is really an issue with the schools, not the profession. And I'll bet you that most of the medical research is already handled by government or private funding. That has nothing to do with basic healthcare. And Obama has said that if you like your plan you can keep it. You like your doctor you can keep him too. Freedom isn't being changed here. Just more options.

No, I hear stories like that all the time from people who are insured and uninsured. It may not be the norm, but it happens alot more then it rightfully should. Matter of fact, it should never happen. This isn't a game, this is about peoples lives but it's being run like a business. And in this business sick people make money. Dieing people are profitable. And besides, the Single Payer plan is available to those who want it. If you don't want it, stick with your plan. That's not so bad, is it?

Single Payer - Medicare for All (HR676) and (S703) are legislation that are ready to go. Why are we wasting time and money drawing up new laws that don't solve our problem? Single Payer has been shown to save $400 billion more than any other plan and will cover everyone.

Single payer is for anyone who can't afford a medical bill that costs thousands of dollars. My friend had a valve replaced in his heart. A necessary surgery for his LIFE. It cost his family $80,000. Could you afford that? If you can, you are very lucky.
