The Tubes perform She's a Beauty at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN on 6/13/08. One of the great rock 'n' roll songs of all time in my opinion. Fee Waybill gives about a 3 minute intro into what gave him the idea to write the song. If you just want to hear the song skip to the 3:10 mark. Catch these guys on tour if you can. They still rock and put on a great show!

  • sorry...I thinkit was the camera gys singing with him...

  • Uh, no it wasn't.

  • Eh? One of the greatest ROCK'N ROLL songs?

Is there anyone out there who agrees with me that this is anything but "Rock'n Roll"?

(Not bad, but definitely not r&r. The harmonising vocal arrangement rather reminds me of Eagles or Little River Band)

  • I don't know what you categorize as rock 'n' roll but this is a rock 'n' roll song.

  • Luv this song! Luv it even more that I know the true meaning!

  • Awesong song! One of my favs!

  • guys, Guys, GUYS... This is 80s pop rock. Now leave it at that. The Tubes, they WERE one of the best. Saw them several times. But please note: This is Fee Waybill, the original singer (who has sounded much better in the past) but he's being backed up WITH A GHOST BAND. These guys are workin' for chump change so Fee can add to his retirement fund. Sad but true. I wish he didn't have to do this. The Tubes were magnificent between 1975 - 2003. Check out videos with Prairie Prince on drums etc

  • Not R & R? Who ever posted that is a PUTZ! They might be a little geriatric now, but 25 years ago... WOW!

  • The Wildhorse is on the strip on 2nd Ave. Downtown Nashville. Cool that they were close to home. I loved the story of how the song came to be. It explains alot of how the video was like a Circus and he was like the Big Top Ring Leader step right up... LOL Great Song. I loved the 80's.

  • less talk more music

  • @pianoman74 I'm with LetItdye. It's not "roots" rock or midwestcoast or one of those subgenre. This is perhaps loosely westcoast and/or pop rock, but these are all subcategories of "rock 'n' roll."

  • It rocks, 4 shure! But the story about the invited striper 2 dance 4 da band, is somethi'! Beautyfulllllllllllllll!

  • awesome........
