Tough Love: A Jonas Brothers Story [[Chpt 1]]

Here it is!! My first chapter! The first couple chapters will be kinda slow but they will get better! =)

Chapter 1
Renee Reynolds walked into her older sister Lauren's bedroom tripping over about 12 pairs of shoes on the way to Lauren's bed.

Renee—"Lauren, you actually have to get up now" *she trips over another shoe* "and pick up your shoes...honestly you have 2 zillion pairs".

Lauren--*reluctantly getting out of bed* "I'm up I'm up"

Renee—*bouncing on Lauren's bed* "I thought you'd be excited...first day of your senior year...besides you love school".

Lauren—"Being smart doesn't mean you love going to high school silly"

Renee—"Whatever. Look cute though, you never know which new students you'll be needing to impress" *smirks*

Lauren—"Get out will you?" *smiles and shakes her head*

***With the Jonas Brothers***
Nick—"Hurry up Joe!! Honestly you are the slowest dresser in the world. Kevin already left for UCLA so now I have to get a ride with you!"

Joe— "Well maybe if you wouldn't steal all my clothes I wouldn't have to take so long trying to find something to wear".

Nick—"Don't kid yourself...we both know that you spent most of the morning trying to decide if it would be ok to wear your Barney t-shirt."

Nick could hear Joe grumbling something about throwing Nick from a moving vehicle and he smiled. Joe came downstairs and the boys hopped into Joe's car, nervous but ready for their first day at Brentwood High.

***With Lauren and Renee***
About an hour later, after they had both managed to find adorable first-day-of-school outfits, {A/N: In the vid} Lauren pulled her dark blue Corvette into the parking lot in front of Brentwood High School.

Lauren—"Ok, I'll meet you out here right after school got it?"

Renee—"Got it"

Lauren turned around and began to walk towards the front steps of the school.

Renee—"And Lauren.."

Lauren(turning around) "Yes?"

Renee(smiling brightly)—"try to be nice to the boys today!!"
Lauren just shook her head and smiled at her younger sister. She began walking away again and entered the front hall of the school. She didn't know why Renee had this crazy idea that she was some nasty man-hater. Sure, she didn't take any of the crap that boys tried to give her; the flirting, the pick-up lines, or the perverted comments about her body, but who did put up with that? Sometimes she wondered if Renee was right...maybe she was too uptight about that type of thing. Maybe that was the reason she had never had a boyfriend. Sighing she walked through the halls until she reached her locker. Luckily they had got to pick their own lockers at the end of last year, and hers was right next to her best friend Saydie's.

Saydie*cheerily*—"Good morning sunshine, good to see you"!

Lauren—*laughs lightly* "Good to see you too"

Saydie—"So...you'll never believe what I heard! We got some new rockstars on campus"!!

Lauren—*absentmindedly* "really who"??
Saydie—"The—" The school bell rang, cutting Saydie off and Lauren quickly rushed to her first class of the day, which happened to be A.P Calculus.

***With Nick and Joe***
[A/N: This is happening while Lauren is talking to Saydie]

Joe: "Let's go to the principal's office and get our schedules"

Nick: "sounds good"
The boys meet Principal Hanser, who seems really cool, and get their schedules.

Joe: "Well I'm gonna go find my locker, I'll meet you on the steps after school"?

Nick: "Yep sounds good" *Joe starts walking away* "and Joe"?

Joe: *turns around* "Ya?"

Nick: "Don't break too many girls' hearts on the first day; save some girls for the rest of the year".
Joe smiled and gave his brother a thumbs-up before walking away. Nick continued down the hallways searching for his locker, when all of the sudden he stopped dead in his tracks.

~~What stopped Nick?, How will the first day of school go?, Will Joe break any hearts"...thats all I got!
