Serpent chief designer and former World and European Champion Michael Salven is the subject of Red RC's second series of Pro Tips. In this five part how-to, the German runs us through the preparation of his Serpent 966, this episode focusing on the drive shafts, gearbox and giving other helpful tips along the way. • @alberello1 its premiun lube off xceed

  • Someone know what is the lubricant that it is using on drive shaft?

  • @infoplasma Concerning the two speed clutch: Michael prefers not to use the grub screws for adjustment since he finds that when he uses them the shoe response is not so responsive and consistent. Alas the shoes will require replacing more often.

  • Man I thought my 1/10 was complicated! Id loose my mind trying to keep this beast running!

  • @infoplasma He says "you have to replace them more often, unfortunatley"

one question, what does he says exactly between 6:55 and 7:00?
