  • i believe the 700 was in 03

  • @Chapstick050 polaris puts v twins in their victory motorcycles.

  • Respond to this video...now the answer to your question...put the tracks on an automatic quad, not a 5speed manual. the tracks create a lot of rolling resistance, so shifting gears will be hard on equipment. belt tranny is probably best suited.

  • @MrCoreyRushton dude, most every utility atv sold today is shaft driven(especially the 4wd's). in yesteryears, polaris was the exception with their chain drive utilities. but, even with polaris chain driven quads, they had belt-driven automatic transmissions. so...the belt being referred to, is only on automatic transmission bikes(except for hondamatic trannys on the honda). all other bikes with automatic trannys use a belt. but they are still shaft drive. let me know if you don't understand.

  • @andremartinbike it wouldn't even turn them in "high".

  • @8joey6 agreed!

  • @iwearshortsbiatch huh? why do honda utilites suck?

  • @proximxr yes you do really need it. rocky hillclimbs, technical terrain...it's an absolute must for maximum control of your bike, no matter how powerful. and, the tracks themselves are like a gear reduction kit(in that they reduce the gears). also, even if your bike has the horses to spin the wheels in high, wheelspin is often undesired when you're trying to navigate difficult obstacles or terrain.

  • @ditchbanger1969 i dont want to sound stupid but when you say the belt will burn i assume on the atv belt will burn so should i put tracks on a shaft driven VS Belt driven?

  • that guys wasnt in first! haha polaris sucks ass! ive got a sportsman 700 twin, and it blows. fucking this breaks quite often. just the way their put together isnt the very best, arctic cat is good. lol that whole clip i was clenching witha big frown :( hes going to destroy that thingkeeping it half pinned IN MUD IN HIGH!! what?! doesnt anyone read the manuals any more? cuz COMMON SENCE JUST INST SO COMMON anymore
