Emulators are fantastic, it's really the only way to preserve all these classic games beyond the lifespan of the consoles they were released for (unless games that are re-released for modern consoles and such, but the problem will only be delayed by that).
I agree playing on the real thing is cooler, and that sound emulation is often far from perfect in emulation (though it varies a lot), but it's still a damn amazing thing IMO.

@KITT171 I know you're talking about the snes version. But its not good. The pc version is better, and best. I never said you didn't own it either, I was simply stating my opinion. In no way, does that make me a failure.

@NoiThinkiWillStay In know DooM is better on the computer, I am talking about the SNES version of DooM, I have played it on the real console and it is not bad for the SNES, I have owned DooM for the PC since it came out, so YOU are a FAILURE.

Thank you so much for this video, it really helped me remember a lot of great games from my childhood :) The only game missing in my opinion though was Claymates :)

@MissQueenBoo
My youngest brother used to play Claymates all the time, I have fond memories of that game... no idea why I left that out!
I seem to remember you could run at serious speed in that game too, which I remember thinking was pretty cool.
It's easy to miss games when making videos with so many of them though... there are several I'd like to replace if I was to remake the video.
