Also I recommend very much that we work single and double cross arm locks from ACTUAL attacks,thus we don't have to create drills that aren't 100% functional.

I'd suggest a linear ridgehand straight from Datu's hand to his partner's temple or carotid instead of the hooking ridgehand. I use eye poke-heel palm-claw instead of ridgehand,but you can't do that in seminars for fear of participants hurting themselves or lawsuits. Much respect,Datu.

I'm usually not a fan of "click sticks" drills,but this drill looks pretty functional! As a karateka among other things,the ridgehand execution is a bit suspect to me and the lack of low line kicks and knees is glaring (although very likely deliberate for the purposes of this drill) but overall? Nice. Besides kali's low line kicks,trips,knees n stuff are seamlessly added to its weaponry in Pananjakman,right?
