Generx® is a one-time, non-surgical angiogenic gene therapy being developed by Cardium Therapeutics (NYSE Amex: CXM). This new therapeutic approach employs human growth factor DNA to stimulate the heart's natural ability to grow additional blood vessels (angiogenesis) for patients with advanced coronary artery disease and chest pain (angina pectoris).
