I think what they mean is that a rig similar to this one (there were actually several) was seen in Ladder 49, which came out in 2004. I believe they too were made by Pierce, and had the Whelen LED package.

I think I know what ffstation9 is saying, in the opening seasons of Ladder 49 they show all the trucks,etc. Thats what he is saying. Not Engine 33 from the movie.

Engine 23 was Put in Service in 08. it WAS NOT in ladder 49, get a life

I think ! know what your talking about, there is a scene in Ladder 49 where engine 33 and ladder are both pierce trucks.....I think thats what he ment guys!!
